Europack Euromanut CFIA 2017: Hyster trucks for process, packaging & handling operations

4th December 2017

A range of robust Hyster® trucks to support efficient operations in the process, packaging and materials handling sectors were on show at the Europack Euromanut CFIA 2017 show in Lyon, France, from 21st – 23rd November.

At the Manuloc stand, attendees from the food and drink, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical industries had the chance to see a varied selection of Hyster® trucks that are well-suited to demanding applications.

For example, the Hyster® RP2.0N Rider Pallet Truck, which features a patented seat design that enables the operator to switch between the horizontal seat, a vertical lean or a standing position at the push of a button, and the Hyster® P.18 Pedestrian Powered Pallet Truck, perfect for maximising throughput and reducing the transportation cost per pallet.

Visitors looking to meet the needs of tough warehousing applications also had the chance to see the Hyster® S1.4 Pedestrian Stacker, which offers optimal control and visibility, and the Hyster® S1.6IL Pedestrian Stacker with Initial Lift, which is ideal for double pallet handling.

A robust electric truck, the Hyster® J1.8XNT three-wheel forklift, was also on show at the Manuloc stand. The lithium-ion battery powered model on display encouraged visitors to consider which power option would deliver the best performance, and total cost of ownership, in their operation.

As well as having the chance to get up close to Hyster® products on the Manuloc stand, guests were also able to see a Hyster® electric forklift truck in action in the demonstration area. In a simulated large warehouse environment, the Hyster® J2.0XN electric counterbalance forklift truck showed the toughness, efficiency and manoeuvrability that make this electric forklift suitable for indoor and outdoor operations, all while delivering a low cost of ownership in demanding applications.

Via a network of branches across France, Manuloc offers a range of Hyster® solutions to meet the varied needs of materials handling applications.  The company is committed to offering reliable and efficient trucks, flexible contracts, integrated solutions consultancy and maintenance to help customers optimise processes and minimise downtime.

Now in its third year, Europack Euromanut CFIA is a leading trade show for the process, packaging and materials handling industry, welcoming 550 exhibitors and 12,000 delegates across the three-day event.
